Meteor was founded in Venice in 1988 and quickly become very popular on the market as a leading manufacturer of barcode reading systems and printing of adhesive customs’ labels. Over the years, Meteor has chosen to specialize in the sale of barcode readers, label printers, portable terminals and in the production of labels. In 2005 MMS- Meteor Mobile Solutions-is also established as the new sister company of Meteor, which focuses its activities on the sale of software solutions to be applied to mobile devices such as PDAs to improve working processes in various ways. Besides in 2005, Meteor creates the MLS division - Meteor Label Service, which deals with the production of ribbons and customs’ labels. Finally in 2009 Meteorshop.it was born, Meteor website entirely devoted to online sales of our products.
